It is finally the weekend.

actually this week has seemed to fly by. Kezri tried out and made the fourth grade talent show. She will be juggling to circus music. Way to go girl!!!!! Kalaree has completed most of her "missed" homework. She has quite a bit still to do this weekend. So very little boyfriend time for her. Kami lost and then found her library book. For something that is suppose to stay in her backpack it made it tot he church bag. Glad we thought to look there. David is working on a few more applications. Things at his work are getting rough. His direct supervisor wanted to change his days off so he could have the same days off as his wife, however, that would mean that David would have to work Sundays which he told them upon interview that he couldn't work a regular Sunday schedule but could help out occasionally. His direct supervisor told him that he could change his schedule if he wanted and that there was nothing David could do about it. So David went to the general manager and they...

Send in the Clowns

The fourth grade at the girl's school is doing a talent show this year. Kezri has decided that she is going to try out. Her talent you ask? Juggling!!!! She is not good yet but she is getting there. She currently can do a one handed two ball juggle. She also does a three scarf juggle. She is going to do about a one minute performance to circus music. I will try to get a video of her juggling here in the next few weeks as she practices.

As Promised.

WOW, two posts month!!! Aren't you impressed? Okay so lets do this in an organized fashion. Easter: Because Easter fell right after spring break this year we were able to get some really nice crafting time in. By crafting I mean both baking/cooking and creating items. Our first project was a fabric basket. I wanted to try this for Katie and Jake for Easter. We started by ripping fabric into 1 inch stripes and then we tea dyed it to an antique white. Finally it was crocheted by me into a basket. I love the way it turned out. It was fun to fill also for both Jake and Katie. Next we made yarn eggs using glue, yarn and water balloons. Kezri loved this activity and even recruted her dad into making some with her. > Kezri, Kami and I made homemade Chocolate Covered Marshmallows. There are numerous steps in this process but they are really rather simple. We started by making our own molds using flour and a plastic egg. Then we made the marshmallow and poured into our molds. Then we dip...

Quick update before the big one.

We spent spring break hanging around the house and I actually remembered to get pictures. I haven't had the chance yet to download them to the computer so I will update again this week with all the pictures and details. (I solemnly swear to update said blog within a 7 day period.) A ton has been going on here. Kalaree is officially a teenager. I know I swore that raising a teenager is easy but now I change my mind. I will fill you in on all the dirty details in the next blog. It will consist of attitude, eye rolls, boyfriends and even hanging out with seniors. But not senior boyfriends. I could definitely not handle that. Easter was fun. Kezri and Kami and myself did a ton of crafts to get in the spirit and Jake and Katie came to dinner. It was fun to see family and hang out with them. Again, I will post all about them with pictures here within the week. David did get into Project Hire. It took a lot of argument but we finally go tit done. I think I may of even made a social worker...
