Snow suit

Kami put on last years snowsuit to go play in the snow and after about an hour came in and said, "I love these snow pants mom. Can you make them bigger, they give me a wedgie." Poor kid is squeezing her 4/5 butt into size 3T. David and Kami headed out this morning to Kohls and bought her a new snowsuit. She is totally in love.

Done

This is my blog. I can and will state what I want on it. People do not have to agree with what I say or how I feel but this is my spot to say what I want. I have been bombarded with comments tonight and would love to post some of them so that others can see that I am not the only one that thinks this way but the only one that has the guts to actully put it to words, but since they start with "please don't post" I won't. Is that being difficult? Maybe, but it is funny that everyone reads my blog yet no one cares enough to post comments on all the great stuff I have posted about, even when I ask for comments, but are running to post comments on how rotten I am for being hurt about the relationship that my immediate famliy doesn't have with my extended family and to tell me how I am wrong in my feelings. I will not go into great detail about what has happened in the last few months that has hurt me because then it becomes a well you don't understand and wha...

Last blog for the night

Now I know everyone in my family is probably rather pissed right now and I know that because of Chad's comment on my blog (that I refuse to publish on MY blog) which means everyone has read it and then sat around and talked about how ignorant I was and how selfish I am and how heaven forbid how bad I made my family look. Yet again a conversation without including Holly to see what she was really saying or even reading something with an open mind as to what she could of meant. To address some of your concerns Chad, this blog is not public. It is set to allow family members and a few close friends of mine to read it and those close friends I had already had the conversation with. I am entitled to how I feel and I by no means have to censor MY blog. You have the right to not read it. I have tried for years to get people in my family to open up to me and my family yet I get five minutes her or ten there but never really any true relationship and that is what that post was about. I pe...

Up coming events

Along the same measure as no pressure those who want to be a part of my life this is what I have coming up and those that want to be family are welcome to come those that don't, don't come. Kezri and Kami's family birthday party. 1-3 pm at my house on December 15th. Originally thought about a pizza parlor but then realized why spend the money when no one is committing to coming anyways. Kezri preforming a solo in a nativity on December 23rd at 3 pm at our new church building on Regal St. Kezri's baptism on January 5th at 9 am at the stake center, our old church building on 29th. I have personally invited each and every person that reads this blog and no one has said that they want to be at any of these. I would love to have anyone that I have invited but I am done begging for family participation. So from now on my life events will be here and those that show I know want to be there and didn't come out of a sense of obligation because I expect nothing from anyon...

Christmas plans

Staying home and enjoying people who really care about me. Rather than play the politically correct person and pertend that life is grand when no one really gives a shit. I am tired of trying to force my family to want to be a part of mine and my kids life. DO WHAT YOU DAMN WELL PLEASE!!!! I will accept anyone who wants to be a part of my life but I won't accept being shit on and then told it is all me.

Dead fish

Our ten gallon fish tank is sitting rather empty on the top of my entertainment center. A couple of weeks ago we brought home a few feeder fish from a carnival and that was the end of everything. The first to go was one of the feeder fish and then right behind him was Stacy our big tri colored moor goldfish. No warning nothing she just was belly up the next morning. Then we notice the one feeder fish was picking on the other fish so we removed him and Pepper Wiggle, our black moor goldfish, never seemed to recover from the damage he had done to her. He had eaten her fins. Dorthy who has been with us for well over a year and was 5 inches long started to turn red and then all of a sudden she was at the bottom of the tank. So know all we have left is That Sucks, our Chinese algae eater. We need to get more fish because well it is rather stupid to have a ten gallon tank with one little sucker fish that hides all the time. I will get the water tested before I put anything new in there. I wo...

The cat came back.

Yesterday, David was working at the table and he heard a meow out the back door. He looked over and there sat Tori looking for food. So he went and grabbed the cat food and opened the back door and she ran away again. WEIRD!!! So he shakes the bag and she comes up and loos at the bowl and he picked her up and brought her in. DUMB cat!!! She got lucky since last night was our snow we have been waiting for. She was clean, and didn't have a single mat in her fur so she kept herself nice while out for a run these last 20 days. She is a lot more friendly, wanting to be were you are. Wanting a ton of attention. She is getting along great with Melvin which is just weird since she hated him before she left, but she is being a stink to Cassie. So now Cassie is back to hiding under the bed and not wanting to be out again. She pulled this when we brought Melvin home. So hopefully she will come out of it real soon. I do have to say though that Tori has also turned into a cry baby...

Thanksgiving weekend

Well it was interesting to say the least. We started out at David's dad house. You can definitely feel the European influence there. Thanksgiving dinner was at Old Country Buffet. Which was fine since they had all the usual stuff. But of course that meant no turkey leftovers. The girls had a great time playing with Grandpa mike and Grandma Jean. They built gingerbread houses and made thanksgiving leaves to hang on the pine tree plant in Grandma Jean's living room. Veronica was with us and that meant hair being done and all that good stuff that girls do when they get together. It was kind of nice for Kalaree to have a cousin around her age there for her since she usually gets shoved to the side with no one around her age. On Friday we drove back to Moses Lake to spend time with my family for Thanksgiving. Jake was home which was nice and so was Brandi. Chad and Chessica came over many times throughout the weekend. The Wii was played over and over again. Grandma O and I went shop...

Grades

Parent teacher conferences are over and the girls of course did awesome. Kami was given a kindergarten readiness scale and she scored almost a full year ahead. We are starting to work with her on simple addition and basic sight words now in her preschool since she is at that spot. The preschool teachers said that she is a joy to have in class, however she can be a bit bossy. Must be her dads infuence on her because there is no way that I am bossy. Kezri also did awesome. She is reading at a 32 reading level and at this point in the second grade she should be at a 20. She has all second grade sight words as well as third and most of fourth. That was at the beginning of the year and the teacher suspects that she has the two she didn't have at the assessment time. Kezri reported that math was her least favorite subject which was surprising to the teacher since she is doing so well in it also. The little smarty pants is basically working at the 3rd and 4th grade level in every...

New Van

Image
Well it is official I am an adult now. We bought a van that wasn't 10 years old. In fact it is only 3 years old. We have been needed to get something newer but I kept fighting against getting into debt like that. But I finally realized that we weren't doing anyone any favors by not and we also had some road trips coming up. Our new van is so pretty it is Silver in color. It has the stow and go seats that fold down in to the floor and it has the automatic open doors. WOO HOO!!! The girls love the push button door open and I love that they aren't slamming the door. David got features he has been wanting for while such as white odometer and rpm, fog lights and power seats. I can't believe that I am driving something so nice.

Church Carnival and Primary Program

Image
Well this is my first official Primary Sacrement Program as the President. I am so excited for the kids. We have one that this will be his first time ever getting up in front of people and speaking. He has refused every other year but I have worked so hard with him and I really think that he is going to do it this year, becuase in years past he wouldn't even practice but this year he did it. So fingers crossed. The kids are singing my absolute favorite song Love is Spoken Here . I am sure that I will be bawling before the progam is over. Both Kami and Kezri have their parts memorized so this should be so exciting to see. We had our practice yesterday and they did a beautiful job and then we had our carnival for the kids. They had the best of time. The bishopric was awesome and allowed us to throw whip cream pies at them. Our ward Clerk is a clown and he came and did balloon animals. We rented a cotton candy machine and that of course was a hit as well as the goldfish bo...
