Harry Potter

David and the girls made a trip to Barnes and Noble to pick up the latest Harry Potter on Saturday. They got there first thing in the morning and said that it wasn't that bad of a crowd. David read from the time that they got home till I finished up my second draft of my thesis at 2 pm. At that point he allowed me to read and I stayed up all night reading and finished the book at 5 am. I won'[t be posting any spoilers. Not for a few weeks anyways. I do have to say that I did enjoy reading it. I was disappointed in some parts that seemed to drag on and in some that were repetitive. But all in all I had a hard time putting the book down.

David has been keeping the girls busy while I work on my thesis. They have made trips to Mobius kids, Silverwood, river park square, and the mall as well as to the park etc. I am so blessed to have such a great husband that has really helped while I do all this work. Just a couple of more weeks and I will be done with all of this and finally be out of school for good.

I meet with my chair tomorrow and it looks liek I will be starting the number crunching here after that.

Not much else going on around here.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
