Streak broken....
I have gone 5 year and 51 weeks without speaking in sacrament and that shall come to an end this Sunday. How sad is that? I was sure I was going for some church record or something. I even get to talk on pioneers and women serving in the church. What keeps coming to mind is selfless sacrifice. That is all I can think of when it comes to how those two tie together. So I am thinking of talking about how much the pioneers gave and how little is asked of us. We shall see, it is still formulating in my mind. I will finalize something tomorrow and then practice it for a few days.
We also had a tragedy today. The dress that I have been crocheting for Kami had to be frogged (taken out) all the away back to the beginning of the skirt. I was doing this one stitch wrong and when I realized how to do the stitch it was already 11 inches into the 20 inch skirt. I guess I could of just finished the skirt doing the stitch wrong but then I would always know it was wrong every time I looked at it. So the dress will not be ready for church this Sunday, maybe next Sunday it will.
I have been doing nothing but reading, writing and crocheting these last few days. It is looking like my defense of my thesis will be on the 15th of August. David and Kezri will be out of town so it will be kind of hard trying to get everything ready and watching two kids at the same time. I have my data now and have started to work the numbers a bit. I actually have to go look at the raw data on Monday. There are some missing and I need to make sure it isn't a mistake on the entry of the data but that the school did not administer that particular test.
I also booked my motel room for the night before my Praxis. I am terrified at not passing it this time. I don't know what else I can do. I was so darn close and yet so far away. It is literally 7 days till the test.
David and Kezri are flying to California next month to help David's dad move up to Seattle. It will be good for Kezri to get her trip. She is all excited for it now.
David has an interview with Airway Height Correctional Facility and also Pine Lodge Pre Release facility on the 7th of next month. I Hope everything goes well with that. It wouldn't be that absolute best job but it would get him in the door and it would put both of us working in Medical Lake/Airway Heights area.
David had a mild birthday. We got him a set of luggage (found them at goodwill, tags still on.) Really nice set. We didn't have cake since he is trying to lose weight and has been doing a really good job at it. He was able to get into his original temple pants the other day when he went to the temple.
Kalaree is also doing well on her diet. She has slowed down some, not sure if it because she laxed a bit on watching what she was eating or if she wasn't pushing herself on her workouts. But we talked about it tonight and about some of the cool stuff she would get for back to school if she lost a few more pounds and so I think she is back on board.
Kami has become a model. The site that I am testing patterns for is using her pictures in their advertisment. Kami loves seeing herself. She thinks she is hot stuff. Not only is she on the front page of their website but I have seen her elsewhere on the web in the advertisments for that site. How cool is that?

I have pictures of Kalaree's new doo but not of the other two. Kezri's is the same just it is now at her shoulder and Kami is really just a trim. So not much change with them.

We have our stake pioneer celebration tomorrow. The girls are so looking forward to it. I hope they have a good time. Kami loves the beach and it is being held at a beach so she I am sure have a great time. As long as girls show up that are Kezri's age then that is all we have to worry about and Kalaree is so excited to see her friend from girl's camp again.
Well it is after midnight and I have resorted back to my grad school days of staying up all night working. This will make it extremely hard to adjust back into the school hours if I don't try to stop this and get to bed. Love you all.
