Finished Dress , Set a Date, and Wart Update.

I finished the dreaded dress. It turned out so pretty. I am truly glad I frogged it and redid the skirt. Kami loves it. We did have a problem about the ribbon. She wanted all these really ugly ribbons (Hello Kitty) I finally got her convinced on this other one but she was not totally pleased till I told her she could have a wooden doll if she let mom win this one. Yea for the dollar aisle in JoAnns. We headed out this morning to the park and got some really nice pictures of it.




I have set a date to defend. I finally got a confirmation on a third and he can only do it the morning of the 15th so that is when it will have to be. Just means busting everything I have to get it done before then.

Kezri's wart is gone. She pulled of the last of the dead skin on it yesterday. She is so happy to finally be back down to 5 toes. Now if only we can keep her from getting them back. I will take a picture later today and post it tomorrow.

We head out tomorrow for Ellensburg. I have my Praxis first thing in the morning of Saturday. David's dad is going to meet us there and so Dave and the girls will get some good quality time with him. We also plan to stop and visit family in Moses on our way back through. Hopefully you all are home.

Not much else going on here. We are just taking it one day at a time.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
