First days of school.

I will start with Kalaree.

Kalaree started in connections (homeroom) and they called everyone name but hers. It turns out they changed her schedule and didn't bother to tell her. They got that all worked out. She was accidentally place in concert orchestra instead of the one she was suppose to be in. It worked out and she even doesn't have to take PE this semester. She has met a few new people and says that she is really liking being in middle school. But they haven't really started on the homework yet. She had her first meeting for softball today and she starts practice tomorrow.

Kezri has a few friends in her class. She says she loves her teacher and that it is going to be a fun year. The buses have been running way late. Kalaree hasn't beat me home yet.

I haven't had to tough of a start. So far so mild but starting next week I will be crazy busy in meetings everyday for the first three days.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. I am also into anything that would go with my new Iphone. I really could use a case and I would absolutely love a docking station at home with speakers so I could use it here. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
