Grades
Parent teacher conferences are over and the girls of course did awesome.
Kami was given a kindergarten readiness scale and she scored almost a full year ahead. We are starting to work with her on simple addition and basic sight words now in her preschool since she is at that spot. The preschool teachers said that she is a joy to have in class, however she can be a bit bossy. Must be her dads infuence on her because there is no way that I am bossy.
Kezri also did awesome. She is reading at a 32 reading level and at this point in the second grade she should be at a 20. She has all second grade sight words as well as third and most of fourth. That was at the beginning of the year and the teacher suspects that she has the two she didn't have at the assessment time. Kezri reported that math was her least favorite subject which was surprising to the teacher since she is doing so well in it also. The little smarty pants is basically working at the 3rd and 4th grade level in everything. She is strugling with alwasy wanting her way. Again must be her fathers influence.
Kalaree also brought home her grades for this semester. She has a 3.5 grade point average. I was sure that middle school would be the perfect fit for her. She is playing volleyball and is getting better but you know how it is when one is first learning.
We are getting excited about our Thanksgiving trip tat is coming up. I can't believe that this year is flying by so darn fast. Before we know it we will be watching the first flowers of spring and then summer will be here. See you all soon.
