New Van

Well it is official I am an adult now. We bought a van that wasn't 10 years old. In fact it is only 3 years old. We have been needed to get something newer but I kept fighting against getting into debt like that. But I finally realized that we weren't doing anyone any favors by not and we also had some road trips coming up.

Our new van is so pretty it is Silver in color. It has the stow and go seats that fold down in to the floor and it has the automatic open doors. WOO HOO!!! The girls love the push button door open and I love that they aren't slamming the door. David got features he has been wanting for while such as white odometer and rpm, fog lights and power seats. I can't believe that I am driving something so nice.

Congrats on the Van! It's nice huh? I love our Van. I would like a newer one, but we'll get to that in a few years. Enjoy it!!

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. I am also into anything that would go with my new Iphone. I really could use a case and I would absolutely love a docking station at home with speakers so I could use it here. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
