Shopping weekend

I SSSSOOOO wish I could tell about all the great deals I got. I started my christmas shopping this weekend and it was just the time to start all this. To start with Mikaela gave me real women dollars to spend at Lane Bryant so I was able to get some stuff for me. I bought Kalaree and I both two new bras each. They were on sale for 2 for $39 which is awesome for their bras. Then I had the get $25 off every $50 that you spend real women dollars so I found a work shirt and a pair of pants to on clearance and they were 50% of the clearance price. Plus I was able to use the real women dollars. So I got 4 bras, a shirt and a pair of dress slacks for $73 with tax. Not a bad deal for Lane Bryant. I saved $129. I was also able to get Kalaree's Santa gift at 50% off with an additional $10 off plus a mail in rebate of $30. So her Santa gift cost me a whole $10. Good thing I will make it up elsewhere. Both Kezri's and Kami's Santa gifts were on sale so I have really done a great job keeping the cost of everything down. Dave and I are going shopping tomorrow too to hopefully finish up everyone Christmas. I even want to be done with stocking tomorrow so I can just enjoy the rest of the month. We are having to do a plan B on one of Kezri's gifts since it is backordered till January 18th. Now just what to get her is a whole nother game.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. I am also into anything that would go with my new Iphone. I really could use a case and I would absolutely love a docking station at home with speakers so I could use it here. Plus, my music was lost in our hard drive crash so an Itunes gift card would be absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! Now I also love my Cricut and I have a ton of cartidges that I would love to have. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
