Grandma

I stole this picture of my grandma from my cousins blog. I hope she doesn't mind but it has been forever since I have seen her and I figured this would be a good way to document her for my records.

This is my dad's mom. She lives in Idaho. I haven't seen her in a while, may be time for a short vacation down that direction to see everyone.

ETA: Grandma is holding my cousins Shandi's baby Tage.

I don't mind at all that your borrowed the picutre, I put it up so that family could see a recent picture. I also thought that it was cute. I appreciate that you comment on my page, I don't know if anyone really reads it other than you and my mom but oh well, I told grandma today that I would give mom the address to your blog so that she can show her picutres of your kids. Grandma said she would love to take a look so hopefully that will happen sometime soon. Love Ya.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
