Not much going on but a lot going on.

You know that hurry up to wait situation. Well, on Monday I was talking with the principal at Michael Anderson Elementary and telling her how we want to purchase a new home but we were waiting still on an answer for a pre approval. Well it turns out her husband is a mortgage brocker and so we called him on Monday and he is actively working on getting us a loan. At an even better deal than what countrywide wanted and we can be approved now and not have to have the money in hand. So between all the running around and gathering of the needed documentation and what not we have been busy but we don't have any definite answers yet.

It snowed here yesterday, so I had to leave work early since the road between Medical Lake and Spokane was a total white out situation. Thank goodness for a two hour late start today because I was not looking forward to driving that road again anytime soon, but by this morning it was fine.

I heard from Janae (my cousin) the other day on Myspace. She has moved to New York to be a nanny. How exciting and fun for her. She gave me her blog address and it is now listed on this page so those that know her can check it out. She also was given my blog address so if this is Janae reading, "Welcome and I am glad that you checked this out."

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
