Another grown up moment.

We opened a savings account yesterday. I know that sounds weird but are finally getting to the point when we can start to put money away. WOO HOO!!! It is nice to know that the money is there if we need it but to be able to just forget about it and allow it to make money for us.

David is still negotiating with the guy from Spokane Woodworking. David talked with him on Monday and told him what he would need and the guy came back with a ridiculus offer. Really low salary and long, long hours. Basically it would be under minimun wage. So David counter offered with a bare minimum requirement and the guy said he would need to think on it and called last night and asked David to come in today to speak with him. I don't have a great feeling about this. I really feel like this guy is trying to build up a company and doesn't have the resource yet and it may cost us in the long run. We will have to see what happens today. I promise to keep everyone informed.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
