Mother's Day

I had a really nice day today. Daivd and the girls woke me this morning with a really large gift bag. Inside was a blender and a box of chocolates. It was really nice since my blender went up in a cloud of smoke a few weeks ago. Then David brought in another box and it was a programmable, with a meat probe, locking lid crock pot. Again a really sweet gift since the girls broke the lid handle off the one Jake gave me at Christmas so I was using a spoon to lift the lid all the time. I took my time getting ready for church since David and the girls said that they were going to go early and set up the primary room for me. Church was church. Actually I spent the whole two second hours with a child that isn't adjusting well to the primary room. Mom is a convert and they are just now starting to come out. He will get it down but today was a rather rough day. I didn't even get to go to relief society even though the men taught for the primary today. After church we came home and I got to take a nap and then I worked on a new crochet pattern, this one if for Kezri and scheduled for the next big release on the web site so I should be able to get it up here soon. I boxed up the lastest gift I just finished. I did get pictures first. I talked with my mom today. Which is always nice to do. It was just a relaxing day.

David is still loving his job. He is now starting to look for work over in Vancouver and I really thing this is the right move for our family.

Kami has decided that she likes to swim, without arm floaties too. I am attaching a video for all to see of her lastest trick.

Kezri is excited about moving. She wants to start packing now. To be honest so do I.

All is well here and now hopefully I can finish out hte rest of this school year and get moved without problems.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. I am also into anything that would go with my new Iphone. I really could use a case and I would absolutely love a docking station at home with speakers so I could use it here. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
