3 days gone

So Kalaree tells me that there is a new books series out that she has to read. I was heading to Barnes and Noble anyways to get a summer curriculum for the girls so I figured hey lets pick it up. The books are the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyers. When I was buying the first book the gal at Barnes and Noble said this was the new Harry Potter. It was great I started reading the book that evening and finished it at 3:30 in the morning. I went back the next day and bought the next two books in the series. It is about star crossed lovers but the author is great at setting up a new suspense before letting you in on the last one. I couldn't put them down. I read all three books in three days. The fourth and last book of the series is coming out August 2nd. I can't wait, I am stuck waiting to find out what happens and what becomes of these people in the book. ARGH!!!!! Why didn't I wait till all the books had been released. But at least now I can try to get my crochet projects finished.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
