School's out for the summer!!!!

That is right I am done. No more school, no more books, no more student's dirty looks. HAHAHAHA!!!! I finished up with an all day boring staff meeting discussing things for next year. Can't you imagine how wonderful it is to sit in a room and hear about all the stuff that will happen next year and not be involved. I doodled, some wonderful doodles in fact. It was a full page (legal size at that) of a honey comb and a large bee on it. I also did a wonderful bunch of flowers on the other page. See my days in grad school have come in handy. I learned some wonderful doodling techniques in those classes and I have been able to put them to use in the real world. With all this humor I do have to admit I will miss those people. Mardee, Candace and Erica took me out to lunch on Monday. It was so wonderful to sit and visit with these gals. They got me the instruction book for making bead boxes and the beads to make my first box. I am really excited to get that started but really have a house to pack up first, so I will start that after the move and hopefully be done sometime before forever. Then today we had an all staff party and the SLPs, the OT, the PT and the Big boss all gave me a gift card. Dave and I will surely enjoy that here later this month. All things are turned in and all things are finally over and now I can start focusing on the big move. Like I wasn't before?

I have my garage sale this weekend. I need to sell stuff and get it out of the house. I have a few more things to move over to Mikaela's and then tomorrow we plan to price and set out everything. It will be a long couple of days but I sure hope it will all work out for us. Plus it will be nice to get rid of everything. I still feel like I have a ton of stuff even though I have eliminated a ton. We will see after I start packing stuff up what else will leave our house. Wish me luck that I make it through this long weekend.

Yard sale? Hmmmm. I love Yard sales! But with our move coming up next month too it wouldn't make much sense in buying anything. Say? How much is that thing over there? ? ? Good luck!

Yeah, I'm ready for this yard sale to be over because then I get to go to UTAH!!!!!!!! YIPEE-KAI-YAY! How do you spell that, btw? Anyways, it'll be good to get rid of things. I hope we make some $$$! Get your butt over here, if I recall, someone promised to help me go through my garage...that person made a really stupid move by saying that too, just FYI! LOL

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
