A very quick trip. The human body is not meant to sit still for 12 out 36 hours. My knees hurt as well as my back and my elbow. The trip was pretty uneventful. We got in about 10:46 checked into the hotel, David changed his clothes into his suit and we headed out to get lunch. David dropped the girls and I off at IKEA and then he headed out to his interview. The girls loved the kids room and Kezri has been begging for a "pod" chair.

David got back from his interview and said it went great. The General Manager said he is definitely qualified and that they would let him know first part of next week. We headed back to the hotel so David could change and then we met with a property management gal to look at a house. It was very nice but it was on a very steep hill and was not fenced. It was older, Kami and Kezri got freaked out by the bugs and the snakes (yes snakes) that were all over the place. A huge yard that needed a lot of work to get it into shape and some other stuff that needed repaired, like the banister. I was concerned with the location, in the country, the turn off (super blind corner), and the amount of things that were breaking down just from age, also there was no where for the girls to ride there bikes and the yard was super sloped too. After looking at this house we went back to the hotel and sat in the hot tub and the girls swam. We brought in BK for dinner and called it a night, we were all very tired. Today we got up and had breakfast at the hotel then headed over to the first house. It was a five bedroom 2.5 bath. It was large and had a nice size yard. The house has been rented by three college guys and they had a fourth party the night before. It seriously looked like a frat house, even including a girl asleep in one of the guys room. Poor girls they didn't know what to think of it. The house was okay, it really had been put through the ringer these last few years if that from these guys. There were holes in the wall, the screens were all missing on all the windows, blinds torn, the screen on the back porch shredded, it looked like poop had been smeared on the wall and at least a whole can of beer in the carpet. I called the land lord since she wasn't there to show it to us and asked her what time frame was to the gentlemen moving out curious if she would have time to get things cleaned up and fixed which she told me that they were moving out around the last week of the month and that she was sure it would be ready, but she didn't know what it looked like since she hadn't been there for a while. YIKES scary. We then went to lunch and talked about that house and what the other possibilities were. We headed over to look at the last house. This is the lease to own home that would cost the same to get into as the other rentals. It is beautiful. Four bedroom 2.5 bath. Designer colors throughout. It has a great room feel and the kitchen is totally upgraded to the stainless steel. It is a gas stove and has a gas fireplace. It is so nice. It is wired with speakers in the ceiling and everything. We discussed the agreement and worked out a few details. Basically, the house is ours.

With the option to purchase the home in a year or sooner if we want and we can extend the year if needed, without forfeiting the down. Also should the home not appraise where it needs to in a year then we can renegotiate the home price and if an agreement can't be reached we can get out again without forfeiture. So it really has come together. I feel so much better now knowing things are in place for us. We left for home right after that house and got in right around 7 tonight. I will be sending out an email later this month with our new address and phone numbers once they are all set up. If you want it and don't get the email after July email me and I will send it your way. Now on to packing, I have finished packing the hall so woo hoo one room down.
