We made it

We are in our new house and we are loving it. The house is ssssoooo nice. The new ward is definitely rather large. The primary is so big they meet in the chapel. There is 3 CTR 6 classes and 3 Valiant 9 classes. We were basicaly warned not to be surprised if we are called to primary since all new people are right now. I had to laugh the whole time I was thinking man, Lincoln Heights thought it had reverence problems. I know a few people that would heart attacks if they sat through our new ward. Everyone was super nice. There are a few new families too. We had about 3 guys from the ward come out and help unload. We haven't met any neighbors yet, but they are nice enough to wave as you drive by. We do have internet at home but I am not sure where we are going to put it yet so for right now I had them set it in the closet and then I will hook up our wireless router and we can put it anywhere. But till I get the router set up we are forced to sit in the closet and work on the computer. I love the space that we have here. I haven't been a room by myself for over 7 years and the other day I sat in the living room totally alone for over 20 minutes. That ws so nice. If anyone wishes to visit Portland or Vancouver there are plenty of beds at our new house and we would love to have visitors so consider this an open invitation. Loves to all.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. I am also into anything that would go with my new Iphone. I really could use a case and I would absolutely love a docking station at home with speakers so I could use it here. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
