Catch up post.

I forgot to mention that both David and I have received callings in our ward. I was called to teach the 12/13 year old sunday school class and David was called into the Young Men Presidency. David is excited about his calling and I will enjoy mine. I love to be teaching the children and know this is where I am to be right now. The girls are settling in at church quite well and we were even invited over to another families house for dinner this next Sunday since it is Stake Conference. I can't wait to start to meet people. I have been asked to talk in church on the 21st of September. The funny thing about it is that it is the "bring a friend to church" Sunday and I was sure that they wouldbe inviting people like the Young Women president and Primary President and what not to speak but no they asked me. I am talking on the Eternal Family. One of my favorite subjects. Now to do all the research but to make sure it isn't too complex. Oh the wonderful joys, glad I don't get to nervous when I speak in public but I will definitely have to practice since this will be most like talking in front of strangers instead of people I already know, since I don't know very many people. Any good quotes or talks would be very much appreciated.

Holli, I've been meaning to tell you, you guys are in my old stompin' grounds. My parents live in Hockinson, they are in the same stake as you! Too funny huh? I lived in Vancouver since '88 and my parents moved out to Hockinson about 12 years ago.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
