Shopping done.

I love this tradition of taking a day and just going out and shopping. It makes my life so much easier. We did get the tree up and decorated but we didn't get any of the other decorations done. Oh well, that will come in the next few days. I will get pictures of it all on the blog here in the next few days as it gets finished.

I still have some crafty stuff to finish. I love that I get to stay busy and I even have some extra time since we won't be going down till after Christmas. YEA!!!! I am so ready for Christmas break. I love my job but lately it has been easy to get distracted and think of other things I would love to be doing. Man, I must be human.

Well I better get back to work. I have a few reports to write. Loves to all.

Love getting the shopping done, Brandon took yesterday off and we shopped till we dropped, we are getting old. Can't wait to see your house decorated!

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
