Christmas is coming

...and I am done with MY Christmas shopping. David still has a few gifts to get but all in all we are finished. However, I am getting real ambitious this year and decided that I want to sew. So I started out with an outfit for Kami for her birthday which of course meant that I needed to do one for Kezri.

This is what I picked. Of course the fabric will be different but the outfit will be like this:


Then I decided that they needed Christmas dresses too. So this is what I will be doing:


Then I wanted to do something fun for the nephews and this is what I found:


Which leaves something nice for my Niece. I thought these were too cute:


I already sewed the chick last night and my girls keep fighting over it.

I will be sewing every spare minute this month. But I can't wait to get everything done. Let me tell you that was a lot of fabric to purchase too. I even ventured to Fabric Depot in Portland. I took David with me for his first time there and he was so funny to watch as we walked in and he saw how large of a fabric store it was.

I did get out and get new pictures of the girls. I haven't gotten them edited but I will try to get to them this week. So be watching for new pictures of the girls. I can't believe how big they are getting. Plus new pictures will have to happen after I finish all the outfits up.

If you haven't seen Kalaree's latest "I want attention" gadget, check out her facebook page. She got one of those nonpriecing tongue ring thing-a-ma-ging. It suctions on your tongue. She has to pop it off to eat, drink or kiss someone. Crazy girl. So mom your wish came true I got one just like me. I think she is a lot of fun. Loves to all.

Now this is by no means a buy these exact thing list. I figured I would gives some basic ideas and you can run from there. I am really getting into the shabby chic look for my kitchen. As you noticed in a previous post I have gotten a few things but I have a few more things I would love to have. These are just few. I like the white and the decorative look. I am also into anything that would go with my new Iphone. I really could use a case and I would absolutely love a docking station at home with speakers so I could use it here. LOVE CRAIGSLIST

Since the new house has a room for each of the girls we ran into a slight problem. Basically how do you make two beds into three and one dresser into three. So I jumped on Craigslist this morning and found two twin size mattresses for $10 each and then another person had 2 box springs for $5 for both. I also found two dressers, nice ones at that for $20 and $40. So I furnished two rooms for $85. We already have a twin bed frame. So I figured I will keep my eyes open for another twin bed frame and keep the bunk beds together so that we have a spare bed for visitors. YES, I expect everyone to come stay with us at least once, we are the cool people. Kalaree is going to refinish (paint) one of the dressers and the bed frame that we have now for her beehive project. How cool is that. Not only does she now have a dresser but she also now has her beehive project to do. WOO HOO!!!!! I am really quite proud of myself to get all this stuff for such a great price and now I don't have to worry...

LOVE craigslist.

I was doing my usual cruise through craigslist tonight when I stumbeld upon a find. A family in a neighboring town is moving and needed to get rid of their loveseat. Slightly sunfaded is how they discribed it but it was free. Well to my surprise when I scrolled down to look guess what I found.... Yup the exact match to our living room set. It is sunfaded, it even looks purple in spots. But hey ours is not in the best of shape either so who cares. So now we finally have enough seats in our living room to have everyone sit without someone being on the floor or a kitchen chair.
